Our History
Our journey began in 1989, when our founder immigrated from Monterrey, Mexico, to McAllen, TX. Like many seeking the American dream, he worked hard to establish roots in his new country, and along the way, he discovered a passion for real estate. On the side, he began investing in foreclosure properties, flipping homes, and transforming opportunities into tangible success stories.
Fast forward 35 years, and that passion has evolved into something much greater. In 2009, as Houston faced a wave of foreclosures, our founder saw an opportunity to make a difference in a city in need of new beginnings. Starting with just 9 lots in the Lakes of Bella Terra community in Katy, TX, he laid the foundation for what would become a mission-driven business focused on building up underserved communities.
At the heart of our company is a simple yet powerful vision: to provide equal opportunity for home ownership. We believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, and we've made it our mission to build high-quality, affordable homes that enrich the lives of individuals and families alike.
Originally known as Vista City Homes, we've grown, adapted, and evolved, but our core mission has remained the same. Today, we continue to build not just homes, but communities—creating spaces where people can thrive, share experiences, and turn houses into lifelong homes.
